Hi.

Our thumbs are basically numb from texting back and forth 24/7 about everything we love (AND HATE) that's happening on our televisions, iPads, and eye glasses (hi, we think we're funny) and we thought WHY NOT SHARE THIS JOY WITH THE WORLD?!

MAKE YOUR OWN BEYONCE HOLIDAY WREATH

MAKE YOUR OWN BEYONCE HOLIDAY WREATH

O, Christmas Bey, O, Christmas Bey,
How shimm’ry are thy sequins.

You dance around the Christmas tree
With Jay and twins and Blue Ivy.

O, Christmas Bey, O, Christmas Bey,
How shimm’ry are thy sequins.

There may not be a lot people agree upon during the holiday season but one thing is for sure: it needs more Beyoncé. So let’s add some with this delightful Beyoncé-themed wreath!

You will need:

A wreath from the most magical place on earth, the dollar store
Scissors
Packing tape (the poor man’s laminator)
A hot glue gun and glue sticks
8 – 10 pictures of Her Majesty Queen Bey

Step One

Choose your pictures. I went with a red, green and gold theme, though let’s be honest – Beyoncé’s wide range of fashion choices allows for boundless inspiration, as does your access to the color printer in your office.

Step Two

Cut it (the pictures, that is). I cut mine down to about 3 x 2 inches. Yours may vary depending on the size of your wreath.

Step Three

Once the pictures have been cut out, place a piece of packing tape over the front of the picture. Smooth the tape down slowly and carefully to remove any pesky wrinkles, like you’re a skilled plastic surgeon that Beyoncé definitely has never visited. Flip it over. Do the same on the back. Trim away any excess tape that hangs over the edges. Repeat for all your pics.

Step Four

OK ladies, now let’s get in formation. Arrange your pics on the wreath to ensure proper placement.

Step Five

Pick up your glue gun. In the crafting world, the glue gun is treated with the respect and reverence you’d bestow upon Beyoncé Giselle Knowles Carter herself. Like Mrs. Carter, a glue gun is smoking hot and can be a little temperamental. Don’t be scared! It is only demanding the perfection that it knows you possess within.  Grasp your glue gun firmly and with authority (and also make sure it’s plugged in). Glue your photos to the wreath.

Step Six

Select someone worthy of receiving your love – I mean, your wreath. Make sure this is not the type of person who, in a few years down the road, may get bored with the wreath and possibly seek out another wreath with more conventionally attractive/European-looking pine needles or who could become threatened when they realize your wreath-making skills are on the rise and their best wreath-making days are behind them. Quoth Beyoncé, "Your self-worth is determined by you. You don’t have to depend on someone telling you who you are."
